I think this is a great resource. In my struggle with chronic pain, it seems “multidisciiplinary” works – and I think that is the challenge, finding that strategy that may be a bit of this and a bit of that – but also manageable and affordable. Accupuncture and mindfulness are definitely two of the main ingredients to my “soup de jour” of pain. Stay well, Harlon
It’s definitely trial and error to find what helps. I like ‘soup du jour’ – good phrase! I think it’s important to have research on ‘alternative’ treatments so we have more validated options too. Otherwise you often hear ‘many alternative health treatments are unsubstantiated’, which discourages people from trying things that could be helpful. Take care!
I think that’s an important issue to be aware of. Pain has become an industry, and some are in it for profit, whereas there are others that are in it to heal. Hence, evidence-based approaches are my fave. Keep up the good work and hope you have a fun and happy day. xo Harlon
